Sanctioned ToY Contest

The California Barbecue Association sanctioned this contest as a qualifier for its 2003 Team of the Year contest.  Teams which are members of the Association were awarded points for Team of the Year ("ToY") 2003.

Invitation to the 2003 American Royal

This contest was a California State Championship, and the Grand Champion will receive an automatic invitation to compete in the 2003 American Royal Invitational in Kansas City, Missouri (subject to its rules, including changes thereto).

Entry in the draw for the 2003 Jack Daniels

This contest was a California State Championship, and the Grand Champion will be entered into the preliminary draw for the 2003 Jack Daniels Invitational in Lynchburg, Tennessee (subject to its rules, including changes thereto).
