WHEW.... Just got home and unpacked.

WOW, what an incredible weekend. That was seriously one of the most fun BBQ Cook-offs I have ever been to. Thanks to all the great California teams that made the journey out here, we do always appreciate your support and friendship..

The BBQ Teams were all incredible, their team mates, family & friends were some of the nicest I have ever met. Everyone was so incredibly gracious and friendly. I love the BBQ Family because of this, just so many great, great people.

A HUGE Thanks goes out to Tom & Jennifer with Whiskey Ranch for helping get this all arranged, for providing the Friday Night Italian Dinner and for all their continued hard work and dedication to making BBQ bigger here in Arizona. They are great people and even better friends. You guys ROCK!!

A Very Special "Thank You" goes out to Maren Brucker, David Holt and the entire Del Webb team for giving us the opportunity to come out to such a great event. Your support and dedication to the BBQ Community is greatly appreciated and you have given all future venues a very difficult level to exceed. You all were incredible to work with and so genuinely appreciated of the BBQ community and we are honored to have you as our Presenting Sponsor and hope to do many more events with you. Thank you so much for your Sponsorship and your Friendship..

Great job everyone and a big Congrats to all the teams including our Grand Champion Scottie & his great team from Cancer Sucks Chicago and our Reserve Champion Steve & his great team from All Hogs Go to Heaven. Way to go..

Mike, Tom, Jen, Dave of Pulte Homes...all the volunteers. and the people behind the scenes, THANK YOU

...and to all the competitors that came out to support this event....This one was one of the best run Cook Off events we have ever been to. Any problems, concerns....they were taken care of.

Michael...You Rock. You worked very hard and it is greatly appreciated.

Food? How about that Italian Dinner for all of us that Jen whipped up for us on Friday night.....? AWESOME. Tommy of Whiskey Ranch BBQ...how do you do it....you served almost 6,000 people on Saturday AND you competed....you guys are a CLASS ACT and an asset to the BBQ world.

These guys worked their tails off to accommodate the teams. We had a great time...it's such an awesome experience for us to compete and we are so grateful for the work that goes into pulling off a successful event.

To all of the CA teams that couldn't make it...you missed a biggie!!! Congratulations to CancerSucksChicago/Thom on their GC, and to Steve and his great crew of All Hogs go to Heaven getting RGC!! We applaud you!

We look forward to the next BBQ Competition that we can attend....we had a great time!!
