CBBQA volunteers, corporate, and private individuals contributed their money, time,
resources, and sweat to help provide 600 US Navy SeaBees and their dependents with a
FANTASTIC BBQ DINNER !!!
            
Del King & Volunteers worked diligently planning and managing this event.
   
Pork Shoulder Butt, Chicken, Beans, Potato, Rolls, and Frito Lay snacks were prepped, cooked, and served !!!

Thanks to everyone who came out, this event came out great. Picture perfect weather, and a real nice setting. We were able to cook all the pork on Dan Canon's pit, the rest of us did chicken. Plenty of food for the troops and there families, which they seemed to really enjoy. We were surprised when members of the American Legion showed up to help serve.
   
Thanks Del for putting this on, and that Filet Mignon on Thursday night wasn't to shabby either. . And Dan C. supplied ribs beans, and rice, we ate pretty darn good.
Had a lot of fun, met a lot of nice people, ate good, and got to give back a little something to our troops. Doesn't get better then that.
Sounds like they want to have us back in the near future. I will keep you posted.
